Find the slope and the y-intercept of the line. Y=8x-7

y=8x-7

The slope is nothing but the coefficient of x, that is 8

Now for y intercept (that means when the graph intercepts y=axis) you just replace x by zero (since y-axis is intercepted and at that stage x=0)
f(0)=y= 0x -7==> y intercept =-7 & the pair at this point is (0,-7)
