In Eastern cultures like Swahili, Arab and Indian traders were introduced to Sub-Saharan Africa for the first time. Soon enough, this mix of culture spread through Southern Africa, and like ethnic conflict in our United States between whites and blacks in the twentieth century, there is ethnic conflict there as well.

The answers are:

  1. Colonizers ignored ethnic groups when drawing political borders.
  2. Most countries have diverse ethnic groups.

I hope this helps!!!
