remember, for |a|<b, assume
-b<a<b
so
2|x+1/3|<9
divide both sides by 2
|x+1/3|<9/2
assume
-9/2<x+1/3<9/2
minus 1/3 from everybody
remember, 9/2=27/6 and 1/3=2/6
-29/6<x<25/6
-4 and 5/6<x<4 and 1/6
A is the answer
