The correct answers are option number 2) introducing legislation into Congress and option number 4) calling an Amendment Convention.

The two options that identify methods of ratifying and amending the Constitution are introducing legislation into Congress and calling a an Amendment Convention. The last one has never been used.

In order to amend the United States Constitution, Article V refers to this case. The House of Representatives and the Senate have ratified the twenty-seven amendments after two-thirds of each house have approved the amendments. After this, they send the amendment to the states legislatures to be voted. The amendment is passed when three-fourths of the states affirm the amendment.
