Guallain-Barre syndrome is a neuron degenerative disease whereby the auto-immune system attacks the nervous system, resulting in damaged myelin sheaths and axons. The neuroscientist may ask questions such as whether or not the patient experiences muscle spasms, has muscle weakness, has difficulty breathing or has blurry vision, all of which are symptoms of Guallain-Barre syndrome.
