AB = AC . From a point external to a circle, if we draw 2 tan to this cercle AB & AC, then the tan are equal:

11y = 3y +4

11y - 3y = 4

8y =4

& y=1/2. Now plug y value in any of the equation & you will find AB = 11/2= 5.5
