If you find yourself in a lab setting and some papers (that are not supposed to) catch on fire, what should you do first?

A) Call 911.


B) Check the MSDS.


C) Grab the fire extinguisher.


D) Record your experimental data quickly

I think you would grab the fire extinguisher first because if you could handle the fire without injuring yourself then you should, however, if the fire has already gotten way to out of hand to deal with, call the police and then warn everyone else if they have not already seen it. So it really depends on how large the fire is and if you or anyone else is in danger.
