Susan sells programs at a game. They get paid $25 to work at a game, and $0.50 for each program they sell. Write an equation relating programs sold (s) and pay (p) for a game.

0.5x + 25 is your equation, since 25 is just a one time thing.

Susan gets a flat pay of 25 per game plus 0.5 for every program sold so her pay is:

p(s)=0.5s+25
