Answer:

C. Compassion

Step-by-step explanation:

Caring and commitment, respect and appreciation, empathy, cooperation and communication are four characteristics healthy families share. Caring and commitment are vital to a healthy family, it means everyone cares about the other one and are concerned about the wellbeing of all the members of the family. Respect and appreciation are also important. Without respect it's almost impossible to have good relationships with others, specially with family members. Empathy means to try to understand what is happening to other person. In a family this is important because there're members of different ages going through different moments of life, dealing with all kind of difficulties and struggles: teenagers developing their personalities, parents dealing with work and adulthood, babies learning and getting frustrated, etc. Cooperation is also key: a family should work as a group, helping and cooperating with each other strengthen the relationships of all members. Lastly but nos least important is communication: this is key in a family. Being able to talk to each other and share opinions and feelings contribute to a healthy family.
