Consuming alcohol causes intoxication because alcohol interferes with neurotransmitters
Neurotransmitter in our brain conveys the message from our brain to the rest of our body using various chemical impulse in order to make conscious actions. When alcohol came within the system, it blocked the chemical impulses which make it really hard for us to control our conscious behavior.
