Sweating which also known as perspiration is a natural process used by the human body for the purpose of excretion and thermo-regulation. During this process essential minerals such as sodium, iron, calcium, magnesium and potassium are lost in great quantities and this may lead to a drop in blood pressure. Too much loss of some of these minerals such sodium could lead to serious effects including excessive fatigue, poor motor control (potassium) and muscle cramps(magnesium and calcium)
