volume=(1/2)×length and width of one of the triangular base of the prism×height by the area of the base.

i.e. V=(1/2)×l×b×h

height by the area of base=8 units.

volume=(1/2)×15×15×8

=900 cubic units.

Hence, the volume of prism=900 cubic units.

Other guy is wrong the value of 17 does not matter in this question. 17 is the hypotenuse of the base triangles.


V = 1/2*a*c*h

V=1/2*15*15*8

V=225*4

V=900
