MATH HELP! I'm trying to use dot products and vectors for my Pre-calc class..:

Let u = <-6, 1>, v = <-5, 2>. Find -4u + 2v.
I thought I knew how to do it but when solved i don't get any of the answers available:
<34, -8> , <14, 0> , <14, 3> , <44, -12>

-4u+2v=-4*(-6,1)+2*(-5,2)=((-4)*(-6)+2*(-5),(-4)*1+2*2)=(24-10,-4+4)=(14,0)

2v = <-10, 4>
4u = <-24, 4>
-4u = <24, -4>

-4u + 2v = <24, -4> + <-10, 4> = <14, 0>
