Georgia has been known for the way it always prepared for facing the two world wars. Among the many steps taken were the preparation and establishment of several military facilities and bases that served to prepare troops for battle. One such facility, that was also known because it became a training field for pilots and airmen, was Camp Hancock, named so after Winfield Scott Hancock, and set up near Augusta. It was distinguished in both wars through its 80th division, which went into battle at the Western front. The second such place was Souther Field, a civilian airport through which participation took place in both World War I and II as it became the launching site and training site for many military pilots and airmen. This is why the correct answer here is A: Souther.
