I would say that the best option for this is lamps. I think so because if you look at the options then it makes sense. But, if you need a reasonable answer here it is:

Lamps:
Oil is one of those things that has many purposes. One thing that it used for a lot is burning. For lamps, oil is burnt because you only need a bit to make a lot of light. Another reason it's burnt in lamps is because it will burn for a long period of time.

All are correct except for telegraphs systems. A telegraph was like a phone and phones don't use oil.
