The set of numbers 1, 7, 11 and 3) contains values for m. What value of m makes the inequality 4m+8<36 true?

3 and 1 would both work because 1 would make the expression equal 12 because 4 times 1 =4 and +8 would make it 12. And then 3 would make it 20 because 4*3+8=20. And 7 would actually work too because 7*4=26 26+8=32

Only 1 and 3 would be true.
If you plug 7 in you get 4(7) + 8 = 36 it is not less than.
