The native Americans even helped the settlers with their land. They became guides of the settlers. They were friendly to them. Although the native Americans were very helpful, the settlers were afraid of their attack. The government pacified this thought through some dialogue with the native Americans. The agreement formedTreaty of Fort Laramie.
