okay so the formula is y=mx+b. M is slope which is rise/run. So whatever is on top is how many spots you go up and the bottom is how many you go over from one point to the next. The b is the y intercept, or where the line crosses the y axis. So here is says the line that is already drawn has another line that is steeper, meaning the slope will be steeper than the slope of that line, and the y int is lower than the lines. The lines slope is -1/2 and the yint is 2. You should be able to figure it out from here, but hopefully this explanation helps
