The answer is: A. profound love exists on earth and continues in the afterlife.

In “To My Dear and Loving Husband" the last lines says, “That when we live no more we may live ever.” And in "A Letter to Her Husband, Absent Upon Public Employment," the last line is “I here, thou there, yet both but one.” In both poem she shows that they both became one and are together for eternity.
