What is the difference hate and like

Hate and like are both two totally different things. They're antonyms. "Like" is a word that's a synonym for "Love", but when you LOVE something you really like it. "Hate" is the antonym for "Love" or "like". When you hate somebody, or when somebody hates you, it's often because of something that happened between you and him/her.

Hate is when you dislike something very, very much. Like is finding interest in something but not like all the way as if you love it. Um... I don't know if this helps or if this is what you were asking, but I hope it does help you out!
