French Indochina was a federation of protectorates in Southeast Asia that formed part of the French colonial empire.

It was formed by a federation of three Vietnamese regions (Cochinchina, Tonkin and Annam) together with the protectorates of Laos and Cambodia, in the modern territories of Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.
