why do people hold bonds rather than larger savings accounts or checking account balances? under what circumstances might they change their portfolios moving their funds out of bonds and into bank accounts

people holds bonds because they have greater returns than the interest offered by banks.when the company wants to acquire back the redeemable bonds its when they move their funds back to the banks
