The cerebellum, or "little brain" is the small, tough structure that lies underneath the posterior or back part of the brain. The cerebellum is responsible for coordinating motor movement and making sure that your musculoskeletal actions are smooth and fluid.
The cerebrum makes up most of the brain. It contains the four lobes of the brain (frontal, temporal, parietal, occipital) and all of the neocortex.
