In this inequality you're trying to solve for 'x'. In order to do this, you have to isolate it on one side of the equation and move all other numbers to the other side. In order to this, you'll have to move the 5 over to the side with the 2...
x+5<2 (subtract 5 from BOTH sides) -> x<-3
