Solve the equation 13-2x=-7

Subtract 13 from both sides.

-13
-7 = -20

-2x = -20

Divide by 2 on both sides.
Remember: Negative divided by a negative makes a positive.

-2/-2 = 1
-20/-2 = 10

Your answer:
x = 10
