Tropism is a response shown by the plants with respect to the different external stimuli like sunlight, water, touch, gravity and others. Hydrotropism is a natural phenomena in which plant shows growth with respect to the water sources as stimulus. The water is necessary requirement for all plants to conduct photosynthesis and to maintain the cellular metabolism. All plants shows positive hydrotropism.
