If you were a voter, what would you do to become informed before an election?

I would look up non-biased news sources and fact check them and learn about their policies. I would then go looking into their past and learn about their blunders, especially if they were in politics before (this is a dead give away, if they did something bad, they'll most likely do it again). I would also look up what they are promising to do.

Also look up what their party is, sometimes that can be helpful in knowing what ideals they hold dear.

Look into their financial history if they were in politics before, if they've been bought off once, the chances are you cannot trust them anymore.

AND THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE, DO NOT let anyone tell you how you align politically, come up with your own ideas, don't let your loved ones or friends push their agenda on yours! This is why it's important to look for unbiased news sources, mainstream media right now is pushing a lot of their own agenda, so fact check!!!

Good luck :)
