Three people went to lunch. Me. Anderson spent a total of $13 on one entrée and 2 sides. Mr. Allen spent a total of $19.50 on 2 entrée and 1 side. If the lunch special made each entrée the same price (as the other entrées) and each side the same price (as the other sides), how much did hungry Mr. Greene spend in 3 entrées and 2 sides? Set up a linear systems and solve

Mr. Anderson
x= entree
y=side
1x+2y=13.00
solve x then plug in into Mr. Allens equation (2x+1y=19.50)
x=13-2y
plug
2(13-y)+y=19.50
26-4y+y=19.50
y=2.17
plug y in to get x x+2(2.17)=13, solve x=8.66
Mr Greene
3x+2y
3(8.66)+2(2.17)= 30.32
