Circumstantial evidence is evidence that when taken as a group seems to point at a conclusion but none of it has an actual proof included. Like in solving a crime this would mean it would not include DNA or fingerprint evidence. It might include witness statements and other things that point at a suspect but do not absolutely prove it.
