Help please! I know I'm supposed to calculate how many hours she worked then multiply it by 6.75$ but I cannot get any answers that match so I'm really confused.. Thank you so much!

If Marcia makes 6.75$ an hour, how much did she make on the day depicted on the tabled?

Help please! I know I'm supposed to calculate how many hours she worked then multiply-example-1

Marcia started work at 7.32 and finished work at 3.43. In total she worked 8 hours and 11 minutes.

Convert the 11 minutes into decimal form:

11 minutes / 60 minutes in an hour = 0.18 (rounded)

Multiply her hourly rate by her hours worked:

8.18*6.75 = $55.125 (you can round this up or down).
