Hey, Bri212! First of all, this should not be in the Biology subject. As for your answer, there are eight phases of the moon. They are listed (in order of appearance), New Moon, New Crescent, First Quarter, New Gibbous, Full Moon, Old Gibbous, Last Quarter, and Old Crescent.
