Half of 156 students went to Sharonton which is 78 students.

A quarter of 156 students went to Deacon which is 39 students.

Twice as many students went to Sharonton than Deacon (or 39 more students).

1/4 is half of 1/2.

1/4= 0.25
1/2= 0.50.

So you can say 50% more students went to Sharonton Elementary than Deacon Elementary.

OR

39 more students went to Sharonton than Deacon.
