The neurons of patients with multiple sclerosis are unable to transmit action potentials down the axon. how will that affect skeletal muscle stimulation?

Since the neurons were unable to transmit action potentials down the axon, the skeletal muscles WILL NOT BE STIMULATED AND WILL NOT CONTRACT.

Because of the inability to transmit action potentials down the axon, the skeletal muscle will remain dormant and in the long run will weaken which may result to the patient being in a vegetative state.
