you need 3 gallons of fruit juice to make punch for your club mewting. you already have 1/6 gallon apple juice and 2/3 gallon orange juice.

2/3 ×2/2 = 4/6 + 1/6 =5/6
how many more to get 6/6?
answer: 1/6 for 1 gallon multiply by 3 (since you need 3 gallons) = 3/6 or 1/2 (when simplified)
