Describe the Sinking of the Lusitania and its impact to the American people.

German tension was increasing, so when it sunk the lusitania, they went crazy. It was a british ship, but it had some American passengers, so they obviously were quite enraged. It was a peaceful ship too, doing everything right and still went down.
