To get 5 2/15 to an Improper fraction u need to first multiply the whole number part by the fraction,s denomenator. Then add that to the numerator. Lastly write the results on top of the denominator

Multiply 5/1 by 15/5 then add 2/15

(5)/(1) * (15)/(15) = (75)/(15)

(75)/(15) + (2)/(15) = (77)/(15)
