Your answer will be
1.125
. You first do what is in the parenthesis. 3/4+5/8=1.375
Then 2 1/2- 1.375=
1.125
There is your answer ^^

3/4 + 5/8 = 9 3/8.
2 1/2 = 9 3/8 = a negitive number
