Why is it important to cite sources correctly in a paper?

Because you don't want to marked down as your information being 'plagiarized'.

So that's why it's best to left whomever your paper is going to, where you got your info!

if you dont cite your sources, no one will know where you got your information from. if no one know where your information is from they can just say you made it up.
