A cylinder-shaped container has a radius of 25 cm and a height of 100 cm. A glass sphere with a radius of 10 cm is placed inside the cylinder shaped container and then the container is completely filled with water.

What is the approximate volume of water contained in the cylinder? Use 3.14 as an approximation for pi.

Volume of Cylinder = πr²h
v = 3.14 * 25² * 100
v = 196250 cm³

Now, volume of sphere = 4/3 πr³
v = 4/3 * 3.14 * 10³
v = 4186.67 cm³

Volume of water = Volume of cylinder - Volume of sphere
v = 196250 - 4186.67
v = 192063.33 cm³

In short, Your Final Answer would be: 192063.33 cm³

Hope this helps!
