Answer : 8(25+x) >500 ; x>37.5

Explanation:

Given,

Usual deposit per week= $25

Let x be the extra amount.

New amount will be= 25+x ( per week)

Amount need to be deposited 8 weeks = 8(25+x)

As per given,

8(25+x)>500 [Required inequality]

\Rightarrow\ (25+x)>(500)/(8)\\\\\Rightarrow\ x>(500)/(8)-25

\\\\\Rightarrow\ x>37.5 [Required solution]
