8n-3=(-5)
Add 3 to both sides
8n=-2
Divide 8 on both sides
Final Answer: n=-2/8 or -1/4 or -0.25 *All answers are equivalent to each other.

8n - 3 = -5
8n = -5 + 3
8n = -2
n = -2/8
n = -0.25
