The answer is agriculture. A vast majority of slaves worked on farms. This was because the farm work was the hardest. Some slaves, known as house slaves, worked inside their master's house. Their work was significantly easier.

Agriculture is the correct answer. This was the most popular job for slaves. The other jobs were usually held by people who were paid.
