There 6 entrances to the haunted house. If you do not exit the same way you entered, how many different ways can you enter and exit the house?

I believe 30, because there are six ways in and five ways out, five because you can't go back through the same entrance. So six times five is thirty.

Answer: 30

Explanation:

Given: The number of entrance to the haunted house= 6

Also we can not exist from the same way of entrance.

Then the number of choices of exit will be 5.

Now, the number of different ways you can enter and exit the house =
6*5=30

Hence, the number of different ways you can enter and exit the house = 30
