Let greater no. Is x
and smaller no.is y
so x-y=1
And x+y=19
Eliminating both eq.we get2x=20
x=10
So 10-y=1
so y=10-1
y=9
One no. is x=10
And other no.is y=9

The two numbers are 10 and 9.
10 - 9 = 1
10 + 9 = 19
