A new television costs $300.00. You have a coupon for 20% off. There is also a 7% sales tax added to the total. How much will you pay for the television? (HINT: Find the discount price first, then find the tax)

I think I know the answer but I'm not sure. Please put all the proportions that you used in your answer and find the discount, with the discount, tax, and then the total pay. Thanks!

Well, 20% of 300 is 60, 7% of 300 is 21. But, if you take 60 and add 7% that's 64.2
