I hope this helps you

Pythagorean :

hypotenuse^2= base^2+height ^2

19^2=8^2+height ^2

height^2=(19-8)(19+8)

height ^2=11.27

height ~17,74

Answer:

Explanation:

one length of the leg is a =8

hypotenuse ,c= 19

we need to find the length of the other leg b.

since it is a right triangle so using the pythagorean

a^2+b^2=c^2

plugging the known values we get

8^2+b^2=(19)^2

64+b^2=361\\b^2=361-64\\b^2=297

so
b=3√(33)
