PLEASE HELP!!!

How does adding salt in a solution of water (salinity) affect the density of the water and how it mixes with freshwater added to it?

Adding salt to water makes the density increase, because the salt's mass is added in. Since fresh water is less dense it would float above the salt water. hope this helps
