Benjamin Franklin was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States of America, and is considered to be a major figure in the American Enlightenment.

Enlightenment was a philosophical movement that prioritized knowledge, intellect and culture. It was the belief that knowledge could make our lives better.

Benjamin Franklin also thought that way, and highly valued intelligence and knowledge, and for this reason, he is related to Enlightenment.
