The correct answer is - D. the Namib desert.

The Namib desert is located in the southern part of the African continent, in the country of Namibia. This desert is bordering the sea, but is extremely dry place. In most cases, the sea brings in more precipitation, but in here, the cold and dry water currents that come from Antarctica are bringing in cold and dry air masses with them, so they do not create any rain. On the positive side, the cold air is colliding with the warm air from the land, and because of that, tiny drops are creating along the coast every morning, and there's fog pretty much every day. These morning fogs are crucial for the survival for the plants in this desert, as they have adapted to consume the water through their skin and leafs, so they are able to survive with literary no rain at all.
