How do u do this equation x/2 +1 =6

So you need to solve for x. TO do that you need to isolate x. To start you must subtract one from both sides so now we have
x/2 = 5
No we need to multiply by two from each side(multiply because fraction means divide and we need to do the opposite to isolate) so now it looks like
x=2.5

So x = 2.5

Subtract 1 to both sides x/2=5
Next multiply by two to both sides x=10
x=10 is the answer

Check: (10)/2 = 5+1 = 6
